American Pharoah

We went to the Travers this year and saw American Pharaoh race.  Along with 50,000 other fans!  We saw him walk by on the way to the track -- what a magnificent horse!  He was calm and exuded a presence about him that was just special.  Unfortunately, he got bumped on the last turn during the race and that, combined with jet lag from flying in from California 3 days earlier and a hard workout the day before, proved too much for him.  But he led the whole way until the very end and was a beauty to watch.
